Dog grooming services & prices

Whatever your dog's coat and character, there's a groom to suit. Prices are indicative starting ranges — we confirm the exact price after a quick, no-pressure assessment when you arrive.

Groomer hand-scissoring a small dog's coat during a full groom
from £38 1½–3 hrs

Full groom

A full groom is our top-to-tail treatment. We start with a warm bath using a shampoo matched to your dog’s coat and skin, then a full blow-dry and brush-out to get rid of dead coat and loose fluff before any styling begins — that’s the secret to a finish that lasts.

From there we clip or hand-scissor to the length you’d like, tidy the face, feet and sanitary areas, trim and file the nails, and give the ears a gentle clean and check. Every groom is done calmly, at your dog’s pace, with plenty of fuss along the way.

Not sure how short to go? Tell us how your dog lives — muddy walks, beach trips, sofa snuggles — and we’ll recommend a length that’s easy to maintain between visits.

What's included

  • Warm bath with a dog-safe, coat-matched shampoo
  • Full blow-dry and brush-out
  • Clip or hand-scissored finish to your chosen length
  • Nail trim and file
  • Ear clean and check
  • Sanitary trim and paw tidy
  • A light cologne spritz to finish (optional)

Good for: Dogs due a proper tidy-up or a fresh style — most coats every 6–8 weeks.

Small dog being gently washed with a shower head on a grooming mat
from £25 1–2 hrs

Bath & brush

Sometimes a dog doesn’t need a full restyle — they just need to feel clean, smell lovely and have the loose coat brushed out. That’s exactly what a bath & brush is for.

We wash with a shampoo and conditioner chosen for your dog’s coat, blow-dry properly to lift the coat, and brush right through to remove tangles and dead fluff. A quick tidy of the face, feet and sanitary areas finishes things off.

It’s a great option between full grooms to keep coats healthy and matt-free — and a lovely, low-stress introduction for dogs who find longer sessions a bit much.

What's included

  • Warm bath with a coat-matched shampoo and conditioner
  • Full blow-dry
  • Thorough brush-out and de-tangle
  • Face, feet and sanitary tidy
  • Nail check (trim available as an add-on)
  • A light cologne spritz to finish (optional)

Good for: Dogs who need freshening up between full grooms, or shorter coats that don't need clipping.

Fluffy cream puppy sitting calmly on a stool after a gentle first groom
from £20 45–60 mins

Puppy groom

A puppy’s first few grooms aren’t really about the haircut — they’re about building confidence. Get this bit right and you’ll have a dog who happily hops on the table for years to come.

We keep first sessions short and positive. Your puppy gets to meet the sounds, smells and sensations of grooming — the dryer, the clippers, the brush — without any pressure, with breaks and plenty of treats whenever they need them.

We’ll send you home with simple tips for brushing between visits, so grooming stays a treat rather than a battle. Bring your puppy along once their vaccinations are complete.

What's included

  • A relaxed hello and time to settle in
  • Gentle bath and blow-dry at the puppy's pace
  • Introduction to the brush, clippers and dryer sounds
  • Face, feet and sanitary tidy
  • First nail trim
  • Lots of praise, fuss and treats

Good for: Puppies on their first few visits, ideally once vaccinations are complete.

Smartly hand-stripped miniature schnauzer with a neat beard and eyebrows
from £45 2–4 hrs

Breed styling & hand-stripping

Some coats are made to be worked by hand. Hand-stripping removes dead coat from the root, keeping the wiry texture and rich colour that breeds like terriers and schnauzers are known for — something clipping alone can’t do.

We assess the coat first, then strip or pattern-clip to the right outline, scissor-finish the shape, and bathe and dry before the final tidy. It’s careful, patient work, and we’ll always go at a pace that suits your dog.

If you’re showing your dog or simply want them looking breed-correct, we’ll set up a stripping schedule so the coat stays in the best possible condition all year round.

What's included

  • Coat and skin assessment
  • Hand-stripping or breed-pattern clipping as appropriate
  • Scissor finishing for shape and outline
  • Bath, blow-dry and brush-out
  • Nails, ears and feet
  • Advice on coat care and stripping schedule

Good for: Wire-coated and breed-standard dogs — terriers, spaniels, schnauzers and similar.

Groomer using a high-velocity dryer to lift a dog's coat during a de-shedding treatment
from £30 1–2½ hrs

De-shedding treatment

If your double-coated dog is leaving a second dog’s worth of fluff around the house, a de-shedding treatment makes a real difference. We never shave a double coat — that can damage it — instead we lift and remove the loose undercoat safely.

A de-shedding bath opens the coat, then specialist dryer work and the right brushes pull out the dead undercoat that ordinary brushing leaves behind. Most owners are amazed how much comes out — and how much less ends up on the carpet afterwards.

Regular de-shedding through moulting season keeps your dog cooler, more comfortable and a lot less hairy. We’ll suggest how often to book based on your dog’s coat.

What's included

  • Bath with a de-shedding shampoo and conditioner
  • High-velocity dryer work to lift the undercoat
  • Thorough undercoat removal with the right tools
  • Full brush-out
  • Nails, ears and feet tidy

Good for: Double-coated breeds that drop a lot — labs, retrievers, huskies, shepherds.

Groomer gently steadying a small dog on a grooming table for a quick tidy
from £8 10–30 mins

Nails, ears & add-ons

Not everything needs a full appointment. Our quick add-ons are perfect for keeping on top of the little things between grooms, or for popping on at the end of any service.

Overgrown nails can be uncomfortable and affect how a dog walks, so a regular nail trim is one of the kindest quick wins there is. Add an ear clean, a teeth brush, or a gentle blueberry facial and your dog leaves feeling brand new.

Just ask when you book and we’ll add any of these to your dog’s appointment — or pop in for a quick nail trim on its own.

What's included

  • Nail trim and file
  • Ear clean and check
  • Teeth brushing
  • Blueberry facial (a gentle tear-free face wash)
  • Paw balm and a cologne spritz
  • Bandana or bow to finish

Good for: Any dog needing a quick tidy, or add-ons alongside a groom.

Pricing questions

Prices depend on your dog's size, coat and the service, so we show indicative starting ranges rather than one fixed figure. We confirm the exact price after a quick assessment when you arrive — never a surprise at the end. Use the 'Find your dog's groom' tool for a rough guide.

Every dog is different. Two dogs of the same breed can have very different coats, condition and temperament, all of which affect how long a groom takes. A starting range keeps things honest — we confirm the final price with you after a quick look, before any grooming begins.
